Pro-rata rounding errors was created by Jenny McCormick
We have enabled pro-rata for our 12 month subscriptions.

If I set the base fee to $100 (comprised of $90.91 base plus 10% tax to make $100) and someone joins mid way through the year the total fee payable is $50.01 instead of the $50.00 I would expect.

In this case the price is listed as $45.46 with 10% tax of $4.55 resulting in the incorrect total of $50.01. It should have a total of $50.00

Is there an easy way to fix this rounding error?

Thanks

Hi Kylie

I think you will have to setup price with more decimal number. For example. instead of 90.91, you will have to setup it as 90.90909090

To allow that, we will have to modify database schema of Membership Pro to allow submitting price in more decimal numbers. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can modify it, then you can check to see whether it works as you want
