EU VAT ID should be hidden for my residence country

Hi there,
I want to hide the EU VAT ID field for customers that are come from the same country where my business is based?
That means:
My company is based in Germany and the german customers dont need a EU VAT ID, because they have to pay always the german tax, no matter if they have a VAT ID or not. Therefore it makes no sense to show the field
Is it possible?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment. This will require some customization to the code. I will see if I can support it in the next release of the extension
