Change Membership ID

Is there a way to change the membership IDs without having to go into the database?

Unfortunately, Membership ID is generated automatically by the system for each member, so we don't allow editing it's value directly, so if you want to change it, you will need to change it via database

What if I export change the membership IDs and then import, will it import the membership IDs?

Hi Bill

Yes, it should change it. However, to be safe, before export, modify and import, you should make a full backup of your site database (or your site) so that in case something goes wrong, you can roll back to earlier state
