In the subscription settings I have set "Use email as username" to YES. When a new user is registering the form correctly starts off with email (and not username). However, after signing in and going to the Membership Pro User Profile, the form shows both the username at the top (which is the email) and an email field near the bottom.
Initially they are the same but the user can change either one. I realize that within Joomla Users the username and email are separate fields. Updating the membership Pro User Profile correctly updates the Joomla Users fields.
I would expect the fields in the User Profile form to be the same as the fields in the registration form. I'm just trying to keep it simple for my users.
Is there a setting or configuration (in Joomla) that I'm missing?
