Trying to get this setup and integrated with EasyProfile and I have two subscriptions setup, both are free but when someone registers they are supposed to get an activation email and they dont and at the bottom of the page after they subscribe it says this:

You can now login to your account to access to the allowed resources on our site.

I have to have something not setup right but I have been through this and the documents a number of times trying to ensure everything is setup right and it still does not send an activation email. Any idea what might cause this to happen with the integration of EasyProfile? I have looked in that component and there are no parameters in it that reference activation.

Hi

Actually, the activation email not being sent might be a problem with your mail setup. Could you please first try to go to Users -> Manage, create a new user account, then check to see whether that user receive email?

That's the first thing I want to check, make sure mail settings are correct on your site

If the mail setting is correct but users still don't receive activation email, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to subscription form so that I can check to see what's wrong and get it sorted

Thanks Tuan, no mail is working fine. I uninstalled EasyProfile and it started working perfectly. I either had something misconfigured or it had an issue elsewhere but regardless not worth having installed with the headache it caused me today.

If uninstalled EasyProfile has it works well, then I am afraid of the problem cause by the extension somehow. As I said, the code for sending activation email and the activation process is handled by Joomla core completely, not membership pro

Maybe you can ask Easy Profile support to see whether they have something which can cause this activation email error?
