My Pages Menu Blank was created by Kevin Morrison
I setup a menu of type My Pages, I have a subscriber that has access to several memberships and this can be verified that I have the right permissions setup because if they click on the User Profile menu they can go to the My Articles tab and have access to all available articles. What could be the possible reason why the My Pages menu would lead to a totally blank page?
What would actually be more useful is if there was a module that could be published on the article pages to just display the tab menu like that which shows up on the user profile. One other thing that is troubling is I have created a template dedicated to Membership pro and assigned the modules on the page that showup on the My Membership page, however when the user visits one of the articles they have access to those modules vanish. Wonder if it is possible to set this up so that they display without having to create a hidden menu for each of the pages?

Hi Kevin
1. I don't know why My Pages page was blank. Maybe it is conflict with something on your site and it causes the issue. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site, a subscriber account and link to that page so that I can check it
2. About the problem when access to an article. It's not very clear to me. Could you please explain more details about it? I guess the template style you assigned to the page was lost when users access to the article. If so, it's all handled by Joomla, we will need to check the generated links to see what's the problem and guide you to correct it

What I am after when a user clicks an article in their membership is the page opens to a page with just the article and the right sidebar menu I have set to all pages. I created a custom template with a right sidebar module position that does not appear on any other template or page other than to those that are assigned to Membership Pro. Given I then set the module to display on all pages it should in fact display on the article page if clicked from within Membership Pro correct? Instead of honoring that it opens using the default template which does not have this custom module position assigned and therefor my right sidebar is not displaying the module assigned to it.
What I was referring to about having the tabs show above the article are the same tabs that show on the User Profile page. The one that shows the Edit Profile, My Subscriptions, Subscription History and My Articles. I tried to publish the members profile module but of course it opens on the Edit Profile and results in the article displaying way to far down the page.

So here is the deal, I figured out what is up with modules not showing up on the pages. Apparently Membership Pro completely ignors the Joomla template manager because regardless if I have set a template instance set to display for a specific page Membership pro will use the first template in the list period! So in order to get a sidebar you want to display for just the pages of Membership pro you have to ensure it is the first template in the list. Why does this extension totally ignore the template manager and decide on its own what one it will use? Sort of defeats the purpose of having a template manager and the ability to create instances for specific page needs!

Hi Kevin
Actually, that's not correct. Which template is used is decided by Joomla base on active menu item of the page, not by Membership Pro (or any other Joomla extensions)
So to have correct template to use on a page, you will need to look at the link of that page, see what is the active menu item and then assign the template to that menu item
In your case, I remember it's link to article, and I remember I created a hidden menu item so that link to article use that menu item (something related to how Joomla routing works), hard to explain. So just assign the template to the hidden menu item I created (Categories) and it should be OK
I am happy to discuss about it with you directly on Skype to find a solution. My Skype nickname is os.tuanpn
