Invalid Subscription Code was created by John Willems
Twice today I have had users report they see this error message when renewing. They will try again with a different card. Both cus
I have looked at the Subscriptions and Renewal information all of it seems correct.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem? I am using MP v12.2. I have not updated the Stripe plugin yet for fear of breaking some custom code Tuan did a while back.

Hello John
Honestly, it is a bug of the extension when Subscription Renewal Behavior config option set to Update Subscription instead of Create New Subscription
For now, please go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Subscription Renewal Behavior config option to Create New Subscription, then the issue will be sorted

Thanks for letting me know this is continuing to be a problem. I changed the setting to Create New. I hope this wont mess up what you fixed/changed in the Stripe Plugin a while back. I had to manually convert all my subscriptions from transaction id to customer id. I would like to avoid undoing all that if possible.

For now, please use Create New. I will have to spend time to think about all possible cases with Update Subscription option to implement it properly. It is still useful option

It creates a new active subscription and expires the previous one . For a monthly subscription over a years time, each customer gets 12 records but only one is active. So in one sense they are not duplicate in another they are.
My great problem is you have a bunch of unnecessary and duplicate information, so the database fills with junk..
I am hoping Tuan will be able to get this worked out. Having the Update Subscription option is nice.
