Unknown column 'tbl.publish_up' in 'where clause' was created by Sam
Hello,
I recently made a copy of a site with Membership Pro installed, and moved it from a subdirectory on one domain to a different subdirectory of a different domain. (It was backed up with AkeebaBackup, moved, and restored with Kickstart/AkeebaBackup). I plan to use the moved site as a starting point for a new site, because there are many configuration similarities.
Everything seems to have gone fine and work as expected at the new location, except that the error listed in the subject line appears with either of the "Plans List ..." menu item types. "Plan Detail" menu items are fine, and everything else seems to work fine.
Do you have any thoughts on this?
Thank you,
Sam

Hello Sam
I guess the issue happens because update was not success for some reasons. So access to My Downloads menu item, download latest version, upgrade it to the site, then check it again
The error should be gone
Regards,
Tuan

Hello Tuan,
Well, that was easy - your suggestion fixed the problem immediately. It must have been a partly failed update, as you suspected. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Sam

Hello, I'm having a similar problem here. I'm running the most recent version of Membership Pro and Joomla, but I'm getting the exact same error.
The only difference is, this error is happening on a site that's been live for over a year now.
Thanks,
JT

As mentioned, it is just a problem with the update somehow. So if it is possible, update your site to latest version of Membership Pro and it should be fine
If you could not update for some reasons, login to administrator area of your site, access to Membership Pro -> Plans for example, then Tools -> Fix Database Schema and the issue should be sorted

I had the same error on the page that listed membership plans. Disabling the shortcode:
{membershipplans ids="*"}
...allowed the page to load without the error (but without the plans being displayed!). I ran the Fix Database Schema tool, re-enabled the shortcode and it's all working now.
Tuan: any idea how this happened? Could it have been an incomplete update and, if so, could there be other issues?

Hi Alan
Yes. Look like an imcomplete update for some reasons. What's the Joomla version you are using?
As mentioned before, go to Membership Pro -> Plans for example, then Tools -> Fix Database Schema and the issue should be sorted
