Payment Date and Transaction ID

I have a couple of questions on the Payment Date and Transaction ID.

1) PAYMENT_DATE shows up when you export on subscriptions, but I cannot find anywhere else to see or update the field. It appears that this field is only updated when using a payment plug-in like PayPal and does not get updated when processing an offline payment. Where do I update the PAYMENT_DATE for offline payments?

2) I have a number of subscriptions without a transaction ID. I also have offline payments with a transaction ID and I have some PayPal - Pending transactions without a transaction ID. When does the Transaction ID field get updated?

Hi Mike

1. Payment Date will be stored after payment success:

- For online payment methods such as PayPal, it is stored after payment completed

- For offline payment, it should be stored when you edit the registration record, change status from Pending to Active

2. For Pending Transaction with PayPal, it it actually not counted as actual subscription (because users don't make payment). The Transaction ID is also updated (based on Transaction ID send back from PayPal) after users complete payment at PayPal site (same as Payment date)
