Have a few Questions was created by Alonzo Lattimore
I have sen't an email about my inquiry but never received response so I am posting questions here. I am the Site Administrator for a newly formed girls basketball team the Lowcountry Premiers Players. We are currently in the process of constructing our website which is running on the Joomla platform. Researching Joomla extensions I came across yours and was very intrigued.
From what I have been reading it looks as if it would fit our needs perfectly.
But I have a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering.
First your subscription features. For our player registration after tryouts. Players will be required to register online. There will be an initial upfront fee depending on level/grade the player is registering for and 3 remaining payments that will be spread over a 30 day period for each remaining payment. These last 3 payments should be recurring payments. Can Membership Pro automatically debit the member for the last 3 payments, each recurring every 30 days?
Membership Pro access to restricted resources. This is what we need for our parents/members. They should be able to go to the members only area of the site and have access to schedules, player profiles, parent information, and our fan shop. These areas should not be accessed by the general public.
Does Membership Pro allow the parent/member to see their subscription details, how long the subscription is, when was the subscription purchased, when will the subscription end. Payment information, the number of payments and dates while logged in from the site?
Does Membership Pro support PayPal out of the box or is a separate plugin required? I a little confused on that one need a little clarity.
I look forward to your response.

Hello
I am sorry, look like I missed your email (or the email didn't reach our mailbox) and could not reply you earlier
For all of your requirements you listed above, I think Membership Pro can handle it, except this one:
Membership Pro access to restricted resources. This is what we need for our parents/members. They should be able to go to the members only area of the site and have access to schedules, player profiles, parent information, and our fan shop. These areas should not be accessed by the general public.
I just don't know where the information such as schedules, player profiles, parent information, and our fan shop are stored, so I don't know if Membership Pro can restrict access to it
And Yes, Membership Pro support PayPal out of the box

Schedules, player profiles, and parent information is a regular articles that have been restricted to registered users/members. The Fan Shop is a shopping cart extension called Instant PayPal Pro which again has been restricted to only registered users/members. Hope this clears any confusion, I'm really interested to see if Membership Pro could work for us. We start team tryouts in the beginning of February and Player Registrations a week after.
Also, for the creation of Player Registration Forms? Does Membership Pro has the feature of letting members/parents upload documents? During Registration parents should be able to upload multiple documents mainly Birth Certificates and Report Cards of their children. Is this a feature available in Membership Pro?

Hi Alonzo
If so, Membership Pro can handle that requirement properly. You just need to configure Membership Pro to assign subscribers to certain Joomla user groups you want when they subscribe for your plan, and then configure the articles and the cart you want to only allow users from these groups to access, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/resources-access-restriction
We don't have PDF documentation. Only online document is available at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/
Regards,
Tuan
