Paypal Pro in Germany

Hi there!
I have a problem with the paypal pro plugin. I get all the APIs that are necessary from the API Certificate. I used yout Link that was posted in the forum. But i still get the answer that the payment is not working. But now i seems to me, that the paypal pro plugin is not working in Germany! Is this right? If yes, is there a solution to work with this plugin in Germany??

Die Info ist vom PayPal Support (hatte ähnliches Problem):

"Ein deutscher PayPalAccount bekommt PRO nicht. Dies ist in Deutschland nicht verfügbar, nur USA.
Auch DirektPayment gibt es in Deutschland nicht. Dazu benötigtes du PayPal Plus
Auch kannst du in Deutschland kein Recurring Payment (ABOS) anbieten."

PayPal Pro geht nur USA,
PayPal Plus geht nur D und UK,
PayPal normal, überall.

So hatte ich den PayPal Support verstanden.

Verwirrend ist, dass Du mit Deinem deutschen PayPal Account in der PayPal Sandbox einen US-Account erstellen kannst, bei dem Du Pro im Profil einstellen kannst. Aber Live geht es nicht, da braucht Du für Pro einen PayPal US-Account. Und man kann nur einen PayPal Account bekommen und zwar in dem Land, in dem man wohnt. So der PayPal Support.

Und:

Mit Membership Pro kannst Du nur PayPal Pro + PayPal normal.

Membership Pro kann kein PayPal Plus
(soweit ich weiß gibt es z.Z. kein Payment-Plugin von Membership Pro dafür).

In short, PayPal Pro API is not available in your country. It is only available in some countries like US, UK, Canada, Australia

If you are looking for a good credit card base payment method, I would suggest you to look at Stripe stripe.com/

It is a very good payment gateway and well supported in Membership Pro

thank you for your answer! Unfortunatley i downloaded the Paypal Pro plugin and now i recognize, that is it useless for me in Germany. Is it possible to get the strip-Plugin instead of the paid paypal-pro-plugin? That would be very accommodating.
I dont't know how much german customers you have but it would be helpfull if the were a little hint by the plugin subscription of paypal-pro, that this can only be used in the US.

Yes, sure. As it is not supported in your country, you can request for refund or switch to a different plugin. Just let me know
