Flexible Expiry Dates was created by Michael Bittle
My client is a non-profit association with 250 members. The membership expiry date is December 31, but most members do not renew by that date. This means that they become "Expired" members, and hence they can no longer log in to renew their membership. They have to apply for new membership,; this causes 'relationship problems' with management.
Would it be possible for "Expired" members to continue having access to the "Members Only" area for a limited time after their membership expires?

Hi Michael
No, they cannot. However, why do you block their account? The standard rule is that after their subscription expired, they should still be placed inside standard Joomla Registered user group, so they can still login and renew their subscription whenever they want

I am not blocking their account. I want them to be able to access the Members Only area after their account expires so that they can renew their account. Membership Pro is blocking their account.
What do you mean "the standard rule ..."? How do I set that up?

Hi Michael
Maybe it is because you configured Membership Pro to do that. If you are using latest version, go to Extensions -> Plugins, find the plugin System - Membership Pro, click on it to edit
There is a parameter called Block account when subscription expired. Set it to No, and expired subscribers won't be blocked their account anymore
