Donation on Membership Renewal

Hi,

I have just added an ability for new members to add a donation when joining a non profit. Is there a way I can extend this option to renewals?
My Renew Membership page is only showing:-
"Renew Membership
Please choose the renew option you want, then press Process button to renew your membership
Renew subscription plan Membership for 12 months. Price $25.00."
Then a button for Process Renewal.

I have also added a field for donations on first joining but it's a bit cumbersome: the field shows full width and it not clearly shown on the invoice. How did you do it?

Actually, it's made me think: I have a one-year membership that has to be renewed each year and a recurring payment. If someone adds a donation, will the donation also be taken every year or just the actual plan cost?

Anyway, it would be good to have the option for a donation on renewals as well.

I haven't seen the invoice, but put it on the membership form. I have used Re-replacer to extend the explanation.

You are saying that the field be displayed on new sign up but not on donation form?

For Allan question, yes, if it is a recurring subscription plan, then that donation amount will also be processed very year
