Create login page for Subscribers was created by STEPHEN BREIGHNER
Ive added a User Login Menu Item, then Created a subscription in the Membership Pro, but get an invalid login when trying to log in.
Do I create a subscriber first, then attach them to a registered user?
Also do I use the main joomla login menu item for this?

Hi Steve
Membership Pro doesn't have it own login module, it just uses Joomla core login feature. So yes, you just need to create and use Joomla Login menu item for the function
Maybe you received an error because your account is not enabled yet? Go to Users -> Manage, find your account, then check and make sure it is enabled and it will work OK

I'm interested in a different aspect of this same issue. I'm curious, If I have a login page (Joomla system login) and a user goes to that page and clicks "register", they only register as a Joomla user. What happens when they realize that they don't have a membership and sign-up again?? is there a conflict with the e-mail address? Also, do they end up with another Joomla username after the Membership system auto-creates a new onefor them?

Hi Terry
1. To prevent users to register directly via Joomla core, you can use this plugin membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/miscel...tion-redirect-plugin
2. Even if someone has existing account in Joomla, they can login before continue their subscription. You just need to go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Show login box on subscription page config option to Yes so that users can login on subscription form if they have existing account before continuing the subscription
Regards,
Tuan
