Prerequisite plan - Must be in X plan to join Y?

Is there a setting where someone must be in X plan to join Y plan? (Y is invisible or impossible to join unless they are already a member of X?)

This will requires clever setup using Joomla Groups plugin ( membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration ) and Joomla access level:

1. Create a new Joomla group called X. X should be child group of Registered

2. Create a new access level called X, only select X group above for that access level

3 Use Joomla groups plugin, config it so that when users sign up to plan X, they will be assigned to group X , see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration

4. Edit plan Y, set Access to X

After that, it should all working as expected

I have a similar setup - my use case is that a member can join, but must be approved for full membership. So similar to what Tuan said, I have my free membership group that anyone can sign up for. Then, upon approval, we change their access level to allow them to see the full membership plan. In your case, when signing up for the first plan, you would have it add them to the access level to allow them to see the second plan. Let me know if you have issues with this, it took me a bit to get mine figured out!
