Prorated Upgrade - Keep same expiry date was created by Jonathan Colls
Hi there,
User subscribes to: Subscription Plan A: 1 year £25 n the 01/07/2017
On the 07/07/17 they want to upgrade to: Subscription Plan B: 1 year £100
I would like them to pay the difference (£75) and for their expiry date to remain the same as it had been on Plan A. Is this possible?
If I set Prorated upgrade to No - this adds a year to the new subscription as the expiry date. eg 07/07/18
If I set it to By Date then another year is added to the expiry date. eg 07/07/19
If I set it to By Price then the price changes - not sure of the expiry on this - not tested.
Is there an option that will allow the user to upgrade for £75 to B and have their expiry date remain as the original 01/07/18?

Hi Jonathan
Unfortunately, right now, this kind of upgrade option is not supported yet. So if you really need it, you will have to customize code of the extension to offer this feature
I will think more about this use-case and might add support for it to the next release of the extension. Seems useful
Regards,
Tuan

I'm also interested in a similar feature. I have a membership that ends on a set date. I want the number of months of membership payments to change based on when they join, not the monthly amount.

OK. I guess this feature is useful. I will try to add it to the next release 2.10.0 which I am working on if I have enough time. Otherwise, in 2.10.1. Give me sometime

Tuan
