Recurring subscription question was created by Jordan
Hello,
I've a question about the recurring subscription plans. I want to set up plans that will have a trial duration (and a trial price), but after the duration period, the plan should not be automatically renewed. How can I achieve this?
In my understanding, I should enable the recurring option in the plan settings, then setup both price and duration, but how about the "Number Payments"? From the documentation I understood that I should add a number there. Per example, if I add "1", is this mean that each first payment for each client will have the trial price and duration? It's important that each client should be able to get the trial plan and not only 1 client.
Thank you in advance!

Hello Jordan
If you don't want the subscription to be auto-renew, you should not create a recurring subscription plan. Just create an one time subscription plan, set price to 0, but set Enable Renewal to No
The idea is that they will get trial duration for free. However, they cannot renew it once subscription expired
That mean they can only use that trial duration one time only. I guess that's what you need
