AEC and Community Builder migration was created by Roger Clarke
Hi,
I am migrating from a setup where CB was used for registration and AEC for subscriptions.
I've used your AEC migrator, which has pulled across all of the subscriptions to membership pro.
I've read your documentation about sync with CB, and that creating a subscription will pre-populate the membership pro fields that are mapped with CB fields.
However, my users all have a subscription that has been imported from AEC. If I login as a user in the frontend and view the profile then none of the fields get pre-populated. The CB Plugin is published. Is this because it only pulls in data for a user who has no previous subscriptions? If this is the case, then how can I get the data imported from CB?

Hi, I will try to explain again with some screenshots.
I have used your AEC migrator tool to import subscriptions from AEC into Membership Pro, and that has worked perfectly
This is the screenshot for the first three fields in the user profile in Membership Pro:
I have mapped the gender field to the gender field I have defined in Community Builder. Here is a screenshot of the same member's record in Community Builder:
Note that gender is set to Male.
I have read the documentation as follows:
When users sign up in Membership Pro, if he has an existing account, the data stored in his profile (Joomla User Profile or third party extensions profile), the data from his profile will be used to fill-in subscription form automatically so that he won't have to type the information again.
If I log in as the user and try to make a subscription i see that the gender field is blank and has not been completed from the community builder data:
How can I update my Membership Pro records once with the data from Community Builder? I thought that the fields should be pre-populated when the user views/edits his profile or tries to make a subscription.

Might be a problem with the field setting itself. Could you please submit a support ticket:
1. Sending us super admin account of the site
2. Sending us the user account which is having this issue
3. Sending us the link to the subscription form
We are going to check to see why it happens and get it corrected
Regards,
Tuan
