Email activation links not working - 403 error

Hello,

We are using Membership Pro for subscription access to a professional forum. We want to use email activation link when they subscribe. Problem is that the activation links give you a '403 - Access forbidden' error so the account is not being activated.

The account is being created in Joomla users and also in Membership Pro. In Membership Pro it says status 'active' but if you try to login you receive the warning 'Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet.'.

Hello again,

I am using the Membership Pro to work with EasyDiscuss. I just noticed two plugins, Membership Pro - Easy Profile plugin and Membership Pro - Easysocial plugin, do they have anything to do/work with with EasyDiscuss? They are currently 'unpublished, but from what I can see when people sign up for a subscription they also gets added to users in EasyDiscuss.

Maybe it happens because you disable User Registration on your site? Go to Users - Manage, click on Options button in the toolbar, set Allow User registration parameter to Yes, then check it again and let us know if it works

That solved the issue. Is it possible to remove the option to create account in the login window? We don't want people to try to create account there.

That part is handled by Joomla core and Membership Pro doesn't have any control over it. However, you can use this plugin to prevent users to register via Joomla core when click on the link, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/miscel...tion-redirect-plugin
