What if recurring payment fails

Hi,

I need to understand what happens when recurring payment fails.

Will or can it trigger an email message? Or a Message once logged in? When a member logs in, they will see that they have no active membership but will they see where the payment failed?

I assume that if the payment fails, they will no longer have an active subscription. Will this trigger the reassignment to Groups properly within Joomla?

At the moment, when a recurring payment failed, nothing happens. The subscription of the user will become expired, so it will trigger membership expired event, so Yes, it will trigger reassignment to Groups properly within Joomla

In the future, I think it will be better to send notification email to both user and admin about this. Something for Membership Pro 3.x

The user/admin notification would be a nice improvement. Looking forward to v.3.xxx when it comes out.
