I haven't posted it as yet, as I managed to sort it my end but can still post and ask if you'd like.

I found that whenever I had any of the countries in the Admin Tools>WAF>Geographic Block (Locations) enabled (ticked) that it would cause the MembershipPro send email & messages issue. As soon as I disabled ALL countries from that feature, saved and re-tried a new membership subscription with payment, it would all pass through 100% with the expected email & messages etc.

I do think it's more linked to the GoCardless payment plugin, in that GC maybe route their payment system through some other for e.g. European countries possibly and hence it cannot complete the last bit, as in the email & messages - if some of their required geographical locations are blocked.

Maybe I should approach GC to see if the above is true, to try and understand the issue further. I will enable Geographic blocking again, try and put a stripe payment through and see what happens; as in all honesty I did that many test one's, each time I was disabling many sub features in AdminTools, that I cannot recall the outcome of Stripe.

I will revert back to you here as soon as I have done so.

I'd love to hear the solution for this as well. We too are using Admin Tools and are getting close to launching our site with Membership Pro.

It's hard to say for sure actually 100% as I had a 3rd party developed payment plugin made "GoCardless" for recurring direct debit's which is very attractive here in the uk.

However, irrespective of that 3rd party plugin, I noted that when I had Geographical IP blocking countries selected within Admin Tools > WAF - when I put test subscriptions through, MembershipPro was rightly saying that system had sent the expected emails but they were never received to the dummy test users email address. As soon as I disabled ALL geo blocks, the emails came through.

Not sure if that helps you Tory but maybe test it out in line with the above r.e. enabling some Admin Tools WAF > Geographical IP Block countries, then put a test subscription through in your test environment (NOT publication version if you have that) and see if the same presents for you too.

Let me know if you decide to and how you get on, out of interest.
