payment plugin icon generator

Hi,

I want to share a way that I used to generate the icons for all the card accepted by Stripe instead of using the Stripe icon.

I went to this site, www.merchantequip.com/information-center/credit-card-logos/ , and selected the logos for the cards Stripe accepts. Then generated the icon, took the url to this image, and saved the image. Added that to the media/com_osmembership/assets/images/paymentmethods folder, named it, then placed that in the icons field for the Stripe plugin.

This will be overwritten upon updates but you can save a copy in your images folder as a backup.

I tried to attach my image but your firewall is preventing it.

The name of the logo is actually can configurable in the payment plugin parameters. So you can save the image with the new name, for example, my_stripe.png and then enter that name into Stripe payment plugin parameter

By doing that, it won't be over-write during update and will solve your issue
