Corporate / Organisational Memberships was created by Toby Potter
How do I create a membership type where the organisation name is the key identifier and individuals are contacts within the corporate membership. I want to have a continuing membership for "Company ABC" with a contact John Smith. If John Smith leaves the org I want to be able to substitute Mary Green as the contact without disrupting the renewal cycle.

Hello Toby
I think you can use group membership feature membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/group-membership
The only thing is that at the moment, the system doesn't allow change group admin as you described. Something in the future
Regards,
Tuan

Thanks Tuan
Does this mean we could create a Group membership and then attach individual users to it?
Reading the help manual I'm not sure I exactly follow. Am I right in thinking it operates as follows
We have a membership plan called "Corporate Membership"
An organisation Company ABC subscribes to the Corporate plan
An individual subscribes
We link them to the Group membership
What happens on annual renewal ?

Hello Toby
1. You can create a plan and enable group membership feature
2. Each organisation can have an admin subscribe for that plan
3. The admin of the organisation can then add group members into his group. You as admin of the site can decide how many members he can add into the group
4. After one year, the renewal needed. Only group admin has to renew the subscription. Then all group members will be renewed automatically (has same subscription duration with group admin without having to do anything)
Hope it is clear now

Tuan
