Renewal Membership Before Expired Date

Hai Tuan,

Is it possible for members to renew their memberships earlier; that is before their membership expired? (Our membership is setup without recurring options).

I tried to renew memberships before expired, but it always gives me a message " You don't have permission to access to this subscription plan".

It only allows me to renew After expired.

Hello Rheza

Go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, find the config option Allow membership renewal
X days before the subscription expired, which X is an input. Set it to 0 and you should be allowed to renew your subscription anytime you want

Hai Tuan,

Thank you for your guidance. However, i did set "Allow Memberships Renewal" to 0 on the config.
Is there any setup or plugins that perhaps i'm not aware of for this to work?

Hello Rheza

Final thing, edit the plan, make sure:

1. Set Enable Renewal to Yes

2. Set Recurring Subscription to No

If the issue is still there, then I have no other ideas. You will need submit a support ticket:
- Sending us super admin account
- Sending us an account which is having this issue
- Let me know what plan you want this account to be able to renew

I will check your setting to see why it happens and guide you to correct it

Hai Tuan,

Than you for your suggestion. I checked my settings as per you inform; unfortunately the "Recurring Option" is set to No, and the "Enable Renewal" is set to Yes.

I will submit support ticket along with required data needed to access.

Thank you Tuan and team for taking the time to address and solve this issue, great job guys.
The solution to this problem as per suggestion by Tuan is as follow:

To solve your issue, there are two options:

1. Maybe set access level of the plan to Public or Registered. By doing that, everyone can see and subscribe for the plan

2. Or if you still want to keep access level to Subscriber, then edit that access level, select both [Free and Premum user group]for that access level.



After doing one of the two steps above, it should work as expected

Thanks for sharing the solution here. The main problem is because you set access level of the plan wrong (even subscribers of that plan doesn't have that access level). I think option #1 would be right for now
