Export quit working?

I'm using 2.8.3 on a current Joomla site (3.6.5). We upgraded to 2.8.3 to pull in the paypal fix.

Export no longer works no matter what type of export file I select (csv, xls, or xlsx). I get this error message:

"This page isn’t working
ercoupe.org is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500"

Is there something I'm supposed to set to make that work? It has been previously working, I just noticed it now. Any/all advice welcome.

Could you please go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, look at Export Data Format, set it to CSV, then try again? It should solve the issue

I tried it as you requested (and as suggested elsewhere int he Forums).

Unfortunately, no luck. It's still broken.

Then maybe your system has too many subscription records now and the memory is not enough? Try to go to Membership Pro -> Subscriptions, select a plan from plans filter dropdown, then export subscriptions to see whether it works

If it works, then you will need to contact your hosting provider, ask them to increase memory_limit and max_execute_time setting for your hosting account (maybe double the current value) to have it works

That seems to be it. I appreciate the direction (I've never had to debug this type of issue).

Is there something in the Joomla logs I can look at for more detail to help me trace this down?

No, nothing in the log could be helpful. As I said, increase memory limit and max_execute_time would help solving this issue
