Change Subscription Status from Expired to Active was created by Rheza
Hai Tuan,
I have a case in which i need to change Subscription Status from "Expired" to "Active" or vice versa without doing it manually.
Here's my case:
1. New member register to Plan A (FREE Plan) then their Subscription Status become "ACTIVE" and they can access "Member Only Area" (Using Restrict Access to any pages urls method). This member have the option to upgrade to Plan B (PREMIUM Plan).
2. Upon upgrade to Plan B. Subscription status on Plan A becomes "EXPIRED" and Status on Plan B becomes "ACTIVE". They can still access to "Member Only Area" since we allow it for ACTIVE Plan B.
3. This is where the problem arise for this case: When Plan B (PREMIUM Plan) Expires, Subscription Status of Plan B becomes "EXPIRED". Now the member has both Plan A and Plan B "EXPIRED" so they cannot access to "Member only Area Urls" (They can only access profile).
How to setup so that:
1. When Plan B "EXPIRED", Plan A becomes "ACTIVE" again automatically (not manually)?
2. When in the future EXPIRED Plan B Members decides to pay again for premium, Plan B becomes "ACTIVE" again automatically?
Please help me for the solution on this matter. Thank you Tuan.
Regards,
Rheza

Hello Rheza
Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no way to make Membership Pro works like that. We might have support for this kind of requirement in the future
However, at this time, I could not promise

Hai Tuan,
Thank you for your prompt reply. Is it possible to do it as a custom work? If it is possible perhaps i can submit a formal request using the support tickets?
Many thanks for this Tuan.

Hello Rheza
I am not sure if you want to do it as a custom work as price would be expensive (around 150$ to 200$)
So I guess better wait for us to implement this feature. I will try to have it in version 3.0.0 which can be available in 2 to 3 months (as I will work on some architecture changes in that new version, moving forward to Joomla 4 and adding more features into the extension in the future, so it will take much time)
