As I move shortly towards my launch, I am hosted with Siteground and I have my live site on the main domain. Then I also make use of SG's Staging Environment and it is this one, where I normally make all changes, additions, removals etc.
I am able to push the whole staging copy to the live site OR, advanced push - which let's me fine tune exactly what I want to be pushed from staging to live site / domain.
Therefore, once my site launches and hence my questions today is;
I will likely have a fair number of new and current users, who will be creating or editing new fresh content on my site and I naturally don't want to overwrite these pieces of data, when I do a push from staging to live.
So regarding membership pro; are there any areas that I could be working on in my staging environment copy, that if I didn't omit in any push to live, would end up overwriting the previous version on the live site?
I hope that I've worded / explained it ok, if not ask where you're not sure and I will do my best to re-clarify.
