Joomla Update System

Hi

Is this possible to allow users update an extension from Joomla Update System when they belong to a (in example) VIP group and they subscription is valid?

At the moment, Membership Pro doesn't have any way to support Joomla Update System. To be honest, I don't have a plan to support it in any near future at least until there are other customers requesting for it

I still have other features I want to focus working on first

I use several of your extensions across a number of sites. With the rise of sites like Watchful and MyJoomla for site management, one of the huge benefits is the updates for all sites being done at once from a single point. It is getting to be a bit "old hat" having to go to individual sites to perform updates.

So I too would add my voice to support for using an Update System that allows updates to be performed from sites such as Watchful and MyJoomla. Obviously this should only work where Download Codes have been entered into the component.

Honestly, I don't know how these services works, so I will have to take a look to see whether it is possible. Right now, Membership Pro is already supports Joomla updates, so we should be able to support updates using those services, too. It however, doesn't take high priority in my todo list, thought, as I still have other improvements I want to work on Membership Pro first

I also use Watchful (but not MyJoomla - too expensive). Many other extensions work with Watchful such as Akeeba Admin Tools, Backup, Kunena and BreezingForms Pro. It would be nice to be able to use Watchful but I only have one website using MP so not a big deal.
