Membeship Pro - Stripe Payments Not Working

Below is the error I'm getting. Please let me know if there is a way to tackle this problem. I'm trying to set up recurring monthly membership and so far not successful. I like the component because it has all the features I need. Only if I can get this stripe thing to work, its dream come true. Thanks in advance for your help. Given the error message I will make the following comments. Stripe requires SSL be set up on your site. That is it needs be https:// and not http://, it needs to show the padlock or in some browsers say Secure. If that is not the case then you need to obtain an SSL certificate and install it. I was lazy and had my hosting provider install it. In my case I also needed a static ip address. Both of those have small annual fees but well worth it to use Stripe.

Stripe is great at handling recurring payments. I use it on our site. It is a dream come true.

The easiest way for us to check this issue is submit a support ticket, sending us super admin account of the site and the link to the form so that we can check it

Stripe is a great Payment Gateway and Membership Pro works with it very well, don't worry

@John : Not sure if you noticed, but the latest version of the extension and Stripe payment plugin is now support updating credit card information for recurring subscription, too. Maybe you should consider update (need to update both the payment plugin and the extension intself, for some reasons, need to uninstall the old plugin first before installing new plugin if you decide to update_

Tuan - I believe I was one those who asked for a way to update credit info for Stripe users. I really appreciated that feature being added. The fact you were able to add the update feature really raised the value of the plugin. It makes life easier for customers who have credit cards that expire or change accounts I for one am very grateful that you took the time to make this upgrade. If I failed to say it before, thank you for the product improvements and great customer service.

My eshop stripe plug is generating a failure message on localhost.

Am I right in thinking that SSL is a requirement.

Before this failure I've had sucessful test payments.

Can you let me know what is the best approach to make this work again.

It must cause by something else as we still test Stripe payment plugin on localhost without any problem

For this, I suggest you to setup your site to a live server, then test it again. If it still doesn't work, submit a support ticket to Eshop category so that our support staff can help checking and solving it

So this was due to the HOOKS url that was not set right and the issue is fixed when we add the hooks url as suggested in the documentation of the component.
