Did you get Download ID of your account and enter it into Download ID config of Membership Pro ? Please try to follow the instructions at
membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/gettin...on#use-joomla-update
to config and try to update it again
If it still doesn't work, submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site so that we can check it directly on your site to see why it doesn't work
