Can not seem to upgrade or even reinstall the latest version of Membership Pro. On the latest version of Joomla did not work, but earlier versions worked just fine...... Joomla version, 3.6.5 - DID NOT WORK>

Error
There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Maximum PHP file upload size is too small: This is set in php.ini in both upload_max_filesize and post_max_size settings of your PHP settings (located in php.ini and/or .htaccess file).
Unable to find install package

Any Help would be Appreciated.

Hello Mark

That's the restriction of your hosting provider. Please contact your hosting provider, ask them to use upload_max_filesize setting for your account to a higher number (for example, 4MB). After that, it will work as expected

I already worked with my hosting company... increased memory .. and it was not that. The only way way I can get Membership Pro to work on Joomla 3.6.5 is to go back and reinstall version 2.6.1.
On an older version of Joomla (Different Domain that has not been upgraded) the lastest version installs perfectly.... with no memory error... it appears to just be Joomla 3.6.5 (Latest Version) that is the issue. The important part of the error is "Unable to find install package" I do believe.

I will submit the ticket now with the same Subject / Topic title.

I actually need it on the main domain, and sub-domain.... I will include the information for both.

Thanks for the help... I appreciate it.

Did you unzip the received zip file before installing? I think you are trying to install the whole zip file membershippro_unzip_first.zip and that's the reason causing the error

You need to unzip that file first, and install the file com_osmembership.zip in the zip file. Please try that and let us know if you need more help
