Groups Integration with Joomla + EasySocial

I've setup EasySocial + Joomla Group Settings via the tabs for our Plans (after publishing the related plugins).

When a Member Upgrades their Subscription, the former subscription is correctly showing as "Expired" and Membership Pro is correctly adding the Member to the new EasySocial Group as well as the Joomla User Group.

However, Membership Pro is not REMOVING that Member from the Groups (EasySocial OR Joomla User Group) that were designated to be removed from when the former subscription expired.

Example:
- Member Subscribes to PLAN A and is correctly assigned to ES Group A and Joomla User Group A
- Member Upgrades to PLAN B and is correctly reassigned to ES Group B and Joomla User Group B, but is neither removed from ES Group A nor Joomla Group A (essentially they now reside in four different Groups instead of just two).

Any thoughts/anyone dealt with this issue before?

Does anyone have any experience with this issue (Membership Pro correctly adds user to easysocial and joomla group, but does not remove them from the original group when the subscription is upgraded/changes)? This hasn't been working in our installation of MP.

Ok, I surrender... I will have to open up a support ticket this has been sitting here for over a week. :whistle:

*i'm probably misinterpreting how to set this up/likely a user error on my part, but if any other subscriber's here on the forum have had this issue (Membership Pro correctly assigns to a new Joomla and/or EasySocial Group on a new MP Subscription but fails to remove user from the old group as intended/selected for in Membership Pro) please let me know - obviously without this function working? our entire Membership Pro setup does not work.
