Reminder email scheduling

I am setting up MP for club membership and as the renewal date is the same for all subscribers I am concerned that if all the renewal emails are sent out at once it might result in the server being blacklisted. Are the emails sent in batches or do they all go out at the same time?

It isn't too much of a concern at the moment as there are only a few hundred subscribers but I thought I would ask the question.

Hi Trevor

Go to Extensions -> Plugins Manager, find the plugin Membership Pro Reminder, click on it to edit

There is a parameter called Number Subscribers , set it to Number of reminder emails you want to sent each time (for example 20)

Then each time, the system will only send reminder to 20 subscribers and next time (after 2 hours), it will send reminder to next 20 subscribers and so on...

The timing could not be adjusted as it is a system plugin. The plugin will be run every 2 hours (maybe longer in case during that 2 hours perior, there are no one access to your site..)
