Feature Request - extra Joomla Groups Setting

Tuan I have a request for an additional feature in the Joomla Groups settings section. At the moment we are able to specify which Joomla Groups a user is assigned to when they subscribe to a plan, which is great, but we also have a need to be be able to REMOVE them from a user group when they subscribe. This is because we have created an 'Expired Member' user group where we manually move all expired members into after a few months following expiry of their plan (the Grace period). This allows us to keep them in the database AND allows them to return in the future at any time (re-join) with a new subscription and retain their profile data and subscription history. If they do re-join we need the system to add them to the 'Member' group AND automatically remove them from the 'Expired' Group.
I believe this would be a very good improvement - to add another option "Remove from User Groups on Subscription" - and should be appreciated by may others and relatively easy for you to implement.
Are you able to consider adding this feature please?

I am sorry but I don't have a chance to look at it yet. I understand your requirement now but I don't think I will implement it into the system

It provides more options, more flexible but sometime, confusing for normal end users. If I have time to work on it, I will modify the plugin and post it here instead of add it to the core package

Hi Tuan, again I am in need of this feature.

To summarise again for others in case they may not be aware of this great plugin/feature.

The Joomla Groups plugin is a fantastic feature to allow automatic control of Joomla groups that subscribers are assigned to when they subscribe AND when their subscription expires.

However it is missing one important and logical option.

The three options currently available to be assigned to each plan are:
1. Assign users to specific groups when they subscribe to a plan
2. Remove users from specific groups when their subscription expires
3. Assign users to specific groups when their subscription expires

So the logical fourth option which is missing is:
4. Remove users from specific groups when they subscribe to a plan

My users are moved to an expired group when the subscription period expires. This means that if they return with a new subscription in the future, they still remain in the expired group (as well as the member group).
I need to be able to set automatic removal from the expired group when someone subscribes.

I feel many others would benefit from this improvement to this great plugin.

Tuan please consider implementing this improvement again.

Added it to my to do list for version 2.9.0. We will have it in 4 to 6 weeks

OK. Today, I finally have it implemented. It will be part of 2.9.0 release which I will have sometime next week
