Problem: No Joomla Account Created, Member ID=0 was created by Rheza
Hi Tuan,
Here's my problem that arise recently: We currently having more and more subscribers on membership pro but it does not create the Joomla user account. It sets the membership id to 0. But this doesn't happen to everyone, there are subscribers who do not have such a problem (meaning Joomla user account is created and membership id is set correctly). What did i do or set up incorrectly for such thing to happen? now i have many registered members but cannot login to my website and never receive the activation link email.
I started having problem since i change "Only create user account when membership active/approved from NO to YES". Just for note that this is a Free Membership so no payment involved.
Here's my config settings:
Resgitration Integration: YES
Only create user account when membership active/approved: YES
Send activation email: YES
Auto Login: NO
Generate Membership ID: YES

Hi Rheza
It actually depends on the status of the subscription record. Is it Pending or Active? If it is active, then everything should work as expected
If it is Pending, there is a problem with the payment gateway you are using. In this case, please let me know which one you are using and does it happens with all subscriptions or just a problem with some subscriptions?

Hi Tuan,
When member register the status automatically becomes "active". And currently the subscription is still free so i'm not using any payment gateway at the moment.

Hi Rheza
I don't have any clue about it. If the subscription is free, and the subscription become active immediately, I think you should not set Only create user account when membership active/approved from NO to YES because there is no difference in thsi case. Just set it to No
Also, are you using K2 extension on your site? That extension has a bug related to captcha and might be the reason causing the issue
