Can I add members to membeship pro(batch process) was created by Leon Jackson
Hello,
I have about 4000 previously registered users in my site and I need to add them to membership pro. Is there any way to batch process these users rather than adding them manually? I really need to sort this out as my new site live and users are waiting.
Thanks

Hi Leon
Unfortunately, it is not possible. I guess you will need to find a way to export these users to a csv file, then use CSV Import feature in the extension membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/subscr...t/import-subscribers to import these users to Membership Pro
However, I don't know why you need to do that ? Just leave them as normal standard registered users and only let Membership Pro handle new registration/subscription from now on

Tuan

Thanks for replying,
But I need to give the previous subscribers to use the user area. I tried importing a csv and xls file but didn't workout, it shows as "0 subscribers were imported"

Hi Leon
Something wrong with the format of the csv file you prepared
The easiest way would be Go to Membership Pro -> Subscriptions -> CSV Import template to get sample csv file, then prepare your data follow that format and it should be OK
In case it still doesn't work, you can submit a support ticket sending us the csv file. We are going to check it for you and tell you what's wrong and correct it
As it is weekend here, maybe you should only do it on Monday or Sunday night

Tuan
