It is not possible, unfortunately. You will need to use Membership Pro together with a newsletter extension such as ACYMailing. The idea is that:
1. You can config Membership Pro so that when subscribers sign up for a plan, they will be assigned to the mailing list you want
2. Then when you want to send emails to subscribers, use ACYMailing to send newsletter to the mailing list you want
If you have existing subscribers, you can go to Membership Pro -> Subscriptions, select the subscription records you want to send email to, then press Mass Mail button in the toolbar to send emails to these selected subscribers
