Managing Plans / Subscriptions / Subscribers was created by Eileen
Is it possible, out-of-the-box or with some effort, to accomplish one of these:
1) Enable access to Membership Pro back-end to site user only for certain plans, subscriptions, and to view/manage subscribers to those plans (for those plans). Can any site configuration come close and could you describe (at least broadly) what's required?
2) #1, but on the front-end so back-end access isn't required (for those "plan owners").
There are steps, but ultimately Membership Pro could find many new users if you supported a "multi-vendor" config so that Joomla sites could offer their users the ability to sell their own UCG (user generated content, whatever the type) from the site.

Hi
#1=> Might be possible. For example, you can create an user account, assign him to Managers user group. Then go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, click on Options button in the toolbar, set "Access Administration Interface" permission for Manager user group to be allowed. Then he can login, access to Membership Pro function without accessing to other sections on your site
#2=> It is not possible. At the moment, we don't have frontend management feature for Membership Pro. Something we can add support for in the future but I guess you will have to wait for 6 to 8 weeks
Regards,
Tuan

Ah, I understand #1, thank you.
A frontend management feature for Membership Pro would be so very welcome
I can prepare for it's "birth" in 6 to 8 weeks from now, besides, "Patience is the key to paradise"! My user scenario is that a plan is developed for a site member who sells his UGC or other service from the site. I suppose the site Admin would be able to set the site member who's the "owner" of the plan. A menu and/or module would expose Administrator functions for all plans in the front-end which filters plans displayed based on userid of current user and the userid of "plan owner".
I suppose this would be a "first-step" toward multi-vendor support. Naturally it would be even more ideal if more of Membership Pro could be exposed to front-end users (based on ACL set by site Admin) so that they could also create their own plans.
Do you have a "feature requests" page? I should put these two there:
1) It would be great if user profile synchronization with currently supported 3rd-party components, especailly EasySocial, could be two-way.
2) I would like the "Drip-Feed Content" feature to offer another column where site Admin can set PHP code to be run as each content item is released so that further custom workflow can be accomplished (of course, if front-end users ever gain ability to create plans, we don't want this feature to be exposed to them --- a recipe for distasteful outcomes

Hi
I am considering using Membership Pro to manage membership and fees to a sports club. I prefer to restrict access to the back-end admin so I was particularly interested to read that frontend management is being developed. Can I ask if this will be still be coming soon?
Another question - Could a manager add a renewal on the front end if the member chooses to pay by cheque or bank transfer?
Thanks
Trevor

Hi Trevor
I decided to leave it to later. In the next two weeks, I want to focus working on some other improvements first
Then I can come back to work on this frontend management feature. And Yes, when it is completed, manager can renew membership for the subscriber he wants from frontend
