GST Inclusive Pricing

Maybe I have missed it, but can Membership Pro handle GST inclusive pricing?

What I need to do is be able to show a total price for a plan, let's say $100. Then, when I user subscribes, I need it to show that with a GST rate of 10%, the plan is broken down as follows: -

• Subscription $ 90.91
• GST $ 9.09
• Total $ 100.00

Is this type of GST inclusive pricing possible?

BTW I would like to see this in Event Booking as well

Hi

1. Go to Membership Pro -> Configuration, set Show price including tax config option to Yes

2. Then edit the subscription plan, set the price to 90.91

3. Go to Membership Pro -> Tax Rules, setup the tax rate applied for your country

Then check it again, it should work as expected

Yeah, that's what I planned to do, but hoped I could avoid having to calculate the GST on everything before entering it.

It just means the user needs to calculate GST before creating any item including payment processing fees and Custom Fee Fields. A little messy but some good training should ensure they get it right.

Will try to find a way to help setting it easier in the future. For now, please follow that direction to setup

I have already set it up the way you suggested and it all looks good.

I have just discovered a small issue with the Pricing/GST combination.

We have a price, including 10% GST of $60.00. I have tried the following prices (Ex GST) and neither returns the correct result: -

• Price (Ex GST) 54.54 -> Price (Inc GST) 59.99
• Price (Ex GST) 54.55 -> Price (Inc GST) 60.01

I tried entering a price of 54.54545454, but it rounds to 54.55 when I save the event.

The above results are shown on the detail page and also on the checkout page.

A am running Joomla 3.6.2 and EB 2.10.1

You can change the table structure of Events Booking abit to support more decimal numbers. Look at the table #__eb_events table, change field type of individual_price field from DECIMAL(10,2) to DECIMAL(15,6) should solve the issue

If you don't know how to change it, you can submit a support ticket and I will ask my developer to change it for you

All good. No problems making the change. It's a little messy given we don't usually deal in currency with more than 2 decimal places, but it gets the job done.
