Importing existing joomla users was created by Himanshu Kikani
Hi!
We have stated implementing Membership Pro and it really seems promising.
We have around 1500+ existing joomla users, with different expiration date (so far we have not used any membership component and we used to enable/disable users manually.
Is there any way of importing these existing users into MP, without upsetting their access and username/password?
And if we import them, can we manually set expiry date for each account?
Regards,

Hi
Basically, you will need to export your current users into a CSV file and then import it into Membership Pro, see membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/subscr...t/import-subscribers
And of course, no username/password/access of the users will be changed

Thanks and sorry for delayed reply!
I think, things are getting clearer now.
The appropriate date format is a crucial point!
Thanks again!

Yes. Data for date fields should be in Y-m-d format
