Email notifications

Hi

When I add a subscription in the backend of Membership Pro, the subscriber gets an email, but we as admin don't. Is there a setting for that so that we can change it so we receive email notification (as we do when someone subscribes through the front end of the website).

Also if I select a subscription and click RENEW SUBSCRIPTION, no email seems to be sent to the subscriber???

1 => When subscription record is created from backend, we don't send email to admin as I think admin create subscription record, so no need to send notification to him, only send notification email to subscriber

2=> Yes, correct, right now, no email sent when you press "RENEW SUBSCRIPTION", that should be changed. I will implement this change into the extension within next week. Please wait for me

Hi, thanks for that. The issue we have is that one admin person may enter the subscription via the back end after taking a phonecall. But another admin person is the one processes subscriptions and so we really need it to send the email to admin even if it's a backend subscription.

I have to agree with you, where many MembershipPro users in their J site may well be singular individuals, there's no doubt enough the world over will be using this great component to create a membership system site; where this may often entail growth and larger numbers = needing staff beyond the initial individual admin user to spread the workload etc.

Therefore, I would like to see the above implemented also, as it would help my model too.

Any news on this development? It would really help things!
