I guess instead of allowing users register via Joomla core, we should leave Membership Pro to handle it all. If you think that is correct, please follow the instructions at membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/miscel...tion-redirect-plugin

If your allow users to register for free, then you should create a free subscription plan so that the users who don't want to pay for subscription can still join

The form you mentioned above belongs to Joomla core, but it seems it is override by your site template layout. So if you still need to customize it, please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site. We will check the code on your site and tell you exactly what file you need to edit to change it

You probably have this figured out, but I'll write it for benefit of others. On the membership pro account registration page, with the show login box on subscription page turned on (configuration), once a subscriber logs in, it then shows that subscribers credentials and by default, this becomes the "edit user profile page" , where the subscribers can change his credentials.

I have the latest version of Membership Pro and have the plugin enabled. I will also make evident that I have my Membership menu unpublished but still Joomla redirects to Membership Pro but is recognized as a different menu: BIO

I corrected the problem as stated above by using the Redirect Plugin: Insert the following URL that matches the Item ID # of your membership page.

example: index.php?Itemid=650
