Can I make Recurring Subscription Optional?

I am looking at enabling recurring subscriptions, but it looks to be an all or nothing setup. Either the subscription plan is recurring or it isn't. Is there an option to let the user choose if they want it to auto-renew? I hate the idea that I need to have two different subscription plans, one that is a recurring subscription and one that isn't, just to be able to offer our user base the option to have a recurring subscription.

Am I missing something?

Right now, you will have to have two subscription plans. This is something I have plan to support for but haven't had a chance to implement yet (will release new version 2.6.0 with nice improvements next week), then I will work on this and other improvements

Give me about 4 to 6 weeks from now and the option will be available

Thanks for letting me know. I look forward to this being an option in an upcoming release of Membership Pro. I think it will be a very valuable feature to all users of the software.

I am definitely still interested in this feature as well. It would greatly simply our memberships as we currently duplicate each membership plan that we want to have an auto-renewal option so that one membership plan has auto-renewal and the other doesn't.

Having it as an option for the subscriber would simplify everything. Looking forward to it!

I don't see this in v2.10 and it was mentioned about adding to v2.6 - are there plans to add this still? We could really use it also.

I once again agree. This is a huge feature missing from Membership Pro. I would love to get an update when it will be available.

This is actually quite hard due to the way Membership Pro support custom fee fields + display fee information when an option is changed....
