If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem can not be solved, worrying will do you no good.
Question about Conditional Custom Fields was created by Stephen
Hi
I would like to set up som fields that are depending on the "Stae" field (core field).
In the settings I have prefilled the states (Set up -> State) with my own "States".
In custom fields settings I now want to add another field with "county" that are depending on the option choosed in the state field (core field). Is this possible? Or do I have to add another custom field with the states in and unpublish the the core state field?

Hi Stephen
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make custom fields depend on states. So Yes, you will need to change state field type From State to List, then add the state names manually (like a normal List custom field type)
After that, you can create custom fields which depends on the States
