Remove Edit Link was created by shane garland
Hi.
Can someone tell me how I disable the edit link in my articles. Once someone logs into my website all the articles have an EDIT link which enables people to edit content on the front end of the site. I have looked through the membership pro component and can't find anything to disable this function. I'm sure its something simple but I can't find it.
Also is there a way to give people the option to log out of the website.
Thanks

Sounds like Joomla settings rather than Membership Pro.
Go to Joomla System - Global Configuration - Permissions tab.
Select Registered - or whatever group you put your users in upon sign up and change the permissions. Edit permissions are near the bottom.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the help Jonathan.
I tried that I went into the global configuration and went to my subscribers list and everything was already set to not allowed. So I also set permissions in the drop down box to denied in both my subscribers list and super user to see if that would remove the edit link. But unfortunately its still there. Once Its logged out its gone but as soon as I log back in the edit link reappears.
