Changing email in subscription doesn't change user was created by Mark Bogart
When you change the email address in subscriptions from the backend it does not change the email in the Joomla user info.
Will that be fixed in an update ?
Thanks Tuan for all you do to make this a valuable product !
So glad to be off AEC !

Thanks Tuan,
I was mainly trying to see what other users felt about it.
I don't see any reason everyone wouldn't like to keep emails in sync on the back end too.
Seems like this would be a logical change in the base software.
You have a great product and have provided the best support ever.

I think that's essential: if a subscriber changes their email address in MembershipPro, he/she surely expects their (joomla) login email address to also change - if they try to use the updated email address to login, they will fail.

Actually, it does sync when the user logs in to do it.
If, however, the admin changes it in Mpro from the backend, it doesn't.
So you have to change both places.

Ah. Thanks. That's not so bad then, but it would be good to fix it for the backend as well.

That's an easy fix. You can expect to see it in the core download package sometime next week.
I will inform you when it is fixed so that you can update your site
