Recurring subscriber date change was created by Helen Nunley
Hi,

I want to implement Membership Pro to my existing clients. If they subscribe on a date that is not their current subscription date, can I change this date to put them back on schedule? (I am comfortable in doing this at database level if I need to.)

Thanks,
Helen

Hi Helen

I am not sure what you want to change? If you just want to change the date, then simply go to Membership Pro -> Subscriptions, click on the subscription record to edit and change the date from there

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

Is the charge date linked to the subscription date or can they be different dates?

Thanks,
Helen

It is subscription dates. What date you want to change? Could you please be more clear about it so that I can understand and guide you?

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

Here are 3 senarios I am envisioning:

1. Existing customer has a subscribed service that expires on X day and customer makes first subscription payment PRIOR to that expiration date, an early payment. Can I alter the date of the credit card charge or the date of the credit card charge for the subsequent payments to fall on the actual due date?

2. Existing customer has a subscribed service that expires on X day and customer makes first subscription payment AFTER that expiration date, a late payment. Can I alter the date of the credit card charge for the subsequent payments to fall on the actual due date?

3. Future transaction senario where the payment fails for whatever reason. The payment might get resolved AFTER the expiration date. Same problem as #2.

Thanks,
Helen
