subscriber is not added to joomla group

subscriber is not added to joomla group was created by Dr. Sandra Hergert
Hi there,
I created a subscription plan. In Joomla Group settings I added the specific Joomla group.
When a user subscribes he pays via paypal. He is now an "active" subscriber.
But he is not added as a joomla user therefor he doesn't get any email or details and can't access any information.
(btw: subscriber is added to the right acymailing list).
Any idea?
