Import to Joomla Users was created by Brenda Baber
Hi again,
We have uploaded an existing membership database to Membership Pro. The members of this organisation will login with their email address as their username, but how do they set a password?
Do we need to import the members to Joomla Users as well, and if so, how do we do it?
Cheers,

Please give me more information so that I can understand what you are trying to do and guide you to solve it

Apologies Tuan - is there a way when importing the csv database into membership pro, that each user can also be created as a Joomla user at the same time to enable end user login with their email address?
i.e. End goal - import the 580 users into Membership Pro and have them be Joomla users as well.

Hi Brenda
In that case, just enter data for username column. Since you want to use email address as username, just make data of username column the same as email column.
You might want to enter data for password column in the csv file as well. If you leave password empty, the system will generate random password
So to be more clear, if you want the system create a Joomla account for the subscription record, you need to have data for username column
Regards,
Tuan
