Joomla Users was created by sarrene
Hello, I have a question and a request,
Question: When a member signs up, are they added to the Joomla user list as well?
Request: (if it is not available already) Would it be possible to add an option to select membership type with our Joomla groups?
Being able to link them would help a lot and i am sure for many people if this is not available right now. Selecting via drop down list from Joomla's user Groups would not be too bad at all, and i am sure would assist not only myself, but many current and draw more customers in.
No other subscription does this at this time any longer. (Least not that I know of). The ones that I know of are no longer supported or not available any longer. I would even be willing to pay for a plugin that would do this as well.
Example:
Create Free Account-> Select Joomla Registered
Create PlanA -> Select Joomla Author
Thank you,
Sarr

Hi Sarr
Both of the features you are asking for is already available in the extension. You just have to config the extension:
1. Set Registration Integration to Yes so that users will be allowed to enter username and password to register for an account while subscribing to the plan
2. Use Joomla Groups plugin to assign subscribers of a plan to the groups you want. See membershipprodoc.joomservices.com/joomla-groups-integration

ps: You are a gem, thank you!

That seemed to work perfectly! I figured I had forgotten or overlooked something in this, hence my statement of: "(if it is not available already)"
Now, one more stupid question:
We were using an external system previously. Is there a way to manually add or sync current users that already have a subscription plan? I looked around, but again, I may have missed it.
Thank you again SO much!

You can use CSV import feature in Membership Pro to import these old subscribers into the system. Please see
